Inspired by Jan Matejko’s Stańczyk (1862), this embroidery captures the iconic Polish court jester in his most recognisable pose — dressed in red, sitting alone and lost in thought while a celebration continues around him.
The design is available in two versions: a smaller, more minimal embroidery focused on Stańczyk himself, and a larger version with more detail and presence.
A piece inspired by one of Polish art’s most memorable figures — thoughtful, melancholic and surprisingly modern.

• Wash inside out in cold water (30°C) on gentle cycle
• Air dry only — no tumble dryer, no direct sunlight
• Iron inside out at 150–200°C with steam
• Do not iron directly on embroidery — use a cloth barrier
